Todd Davis returned as Director of Sacred Music in August 2025, having served at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 2000-2004. He has a deep love for sharing the Gospel through music and using the “King of Instruments,” the organ, as a vehicle to inspire a deep sense of reverence, power, and awe in worship. He will lead the Chancel Choir, the Handbell Choir, and the Children’s Choir. Mr. Davis will also focus attention on solo/group involvement in worship. He will establish new programs, including those that are community-focused, i.e., “Midweek Music,” to further grow the ministry of music at St. Paul Lutheran Church. His experience will help blend and build upon the solid traditions of excellent music in worship.

He is active in the local music community as an accompanist for the East Berlin Community Singers and as an accompanist for the Susquehanna Chorale, specifically the Youth Chorale and Alta Voce. Mr. Davis serves as Parish Musician at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spring Grove, Pa, and is also a member of the American Guild of Organists, the Royal Canadian College of Organists, and the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society. He has been awarded the Associate and Colleague Certification (with top honors) from the American Guild of Organists. In addition, he has been awarded the Service Playing Certificate and the Diploma of Colleague (with top honors) from the Royal Canadian College of Organists. He is currently a guitar student of Christopher Laughlin. His organ teachers have included Dr. Richard Wegner (Immanuel Lutheran Church, Baltimore, MD) and
Dr. Thomas Spacht (Towson University).

He and his wife, Cathe, have enjoyed catching up with friends, meeting new people, and taking part in the life of the church and community. They are blessed by their son, Hayden, who is also active in many programs.

Mr. Davis’s particular interests include the hymnody of the church and all things sacred. He and
his family are active in travel and sports, having traveled outside of the country on various occasions.
A memorable experience for them is their trip to Normandy, France, in June 2024, with the
East Berlin Community Singers, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
