God's Promise of Blessing

“Blessed are the poor in spirit… for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5)

This Sunday, we hear Jesus proclaim blessing in unexpected places. Through the Beatitudes, God names hope for the humble, mercy for the broken, and promise for those who long for righteousness.

Join us for worship centered in Word and Sacrament, where Christ meets us with grace.

Come as you are. You are welcome.

Worship: 9AM followed by Fellowship Hour

Sunday School for all ages: 10:30

St. Paul Has Heart

St. Paul Has Heart has been a February tradition in our church for many years as a way of caring for our community and meeting local needs. Throughout February we will be collecting the following:
Ø  Harvest of Hope Food Pantry:  Monetary donations are most helpful. Please
make your check payable to St. Paul Lutheran Church and place it in the
       envelopes found in the pews.

Ø  Little Free Pantry:  Nonperishable (shelf-stable) cartons of milk are needed.

Ø  Monetary donations to help reduce the Spring Grove Area School District
       student lunch debt:
There will be donation envelopes hanging in the
       Fellowship Hall for these contributions.

From February 1-28, donation boxes will be on the stage in the Fellowship Hall.

Thank you for your caring and generosity.

QUILT MONTH

January was quilt month. During worship throughout January the sanctuary was filled with the quilts made by our quilting ministry!

As part of their Mission and Service activities, they join Christian women worldwide using the art of quilt making to aid those in need with handmade patch quilts. Last year, St. Paul's quilters donated a "Christmas Quilt" to Camp Nawakwa for their annual quilt auction, 12 lap quilts and 12 full-size quilts to For the Love of a Veteran and 16 quilts and 12 lap quilts to Off the Streets, York.

Quilting meets every Monday at 8:30 a.m. Please consider joining us in the basement to sew, cut, tie, press, etc., and share the fellowship. No experience necessary!
