Noisy Collection

Every time there is a fifth Sunday in a month, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church celebrates by having a “Noisy Collection.” This is exactly what it sounds like – it’s noisy.  We collect change from the congregation, so everyone can hear the change being donated. Of course, paper money is always accepted too.  This “Noisy Collection” is used to help raise money for the Children, Youth, Family Ministries at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

So start saving that change, the collection buckets will be available for “noisy offerings” during worship service on Sunday, May 30. We are thankful to the congregation for generously supporting “Noisy Collection” and CYF Ministries.

FIRST COMMUNION UPDATE

I am aware that it has been quite some time, due to the pandemic, since we have

held a First Communion class. This year we are targeting All Saints Sunday (11/7) for

First Communion. We do this in hopes that communion will be more “normal” by the

Fall! Look forward to more info in the coming months.

VOLUNTEERS NEED TO TEACH SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School Class Divisions return on Sunday, April 11, 2021. We will split up into age specific classes once again! Currently, we have a class that is for all ages. In the next two weeks (until Palm Sunday), Youth will have a specific division with Pastor James, while Katy King helps teach the littlest ones.

We need volunteers to teach Sunday School. If interested, you can sign up at the following link:

RETURN OF ACOLYTES

Worship and Music has decided to bring Acolytes and Lectors back to our worship,

beginning Palm Sunday (3/28). Pastor James has taken the lead on organizing,

recruiting, and training new Acolytes. We need at least one acolyte every Sunday,

but it would be great to have two, especially if one is younger!

- Acolyte Training Session- After Sunday School on 4/11! Both new and returning

acolytes are welcome! Experienced acolytes can help mentor our newer ones.
